In 1958, the company was acquired by Elliott
Automation and was transferred to Greenwich. It then became
part of a local group, Kent Castings Ltd., and moved to Strood.
Three years later, we became a private company. In 1964 the
company moved away from general engineering to concentrate
on the manufacture of metal bellows seals for the nuclear,
aerospace and chemical industries. A period of consolidation
followed which saw a transfer of the business to the Rochester
Trading Estate in 1971 and then on to new premises situated
in Laker Road in 1986, in an area known as the Rochester Airport
Industrial Estate. |
